For over 25 years the IFCG has served the City of Brighton and Hove bringing people of faith and none together; we often answer requests for gatherings in the face of immediate tragedies, wars and conflicts that may affect people of faith worldwide and those in our own City. We organise vigils and prayer groups as well as regular events of all kinds – special days, discussions, meetings and an annual interfaith service. During the Covid Pandemic when places of worship were closed the IFCG issued a weekly blog of interfaith readings entitled Words of Connection. In recent years we have also served the Mayor of Brighton and Hove in the capacity of Chaplain, and conducted the interfaith memorial service for the City for those that died during the pandemic.
